Challenge
The challenge was to authentically represent the project's impact while balancing personal stories with factual information. Capturing diverse experiences and balancing emotional storytelling with the educational goals of the project required thoughtful planning and execution.
Solution
The film combined event footage, interviews with coaches, parents, and participants, emphasizing authenticity and personal progress. Additional interviews were produced for the Swedish Skateboard Federation’s training program to further support educational goals. Filming took place in Karlstad, Ölme, and Gothenburg, with the trailer specifically showcasing Karlstad's skateboard hall as a central location.
Results
The film effectively communicated the project’s impact, receiving praise from both the skateboarding community and educational organizations. It has been used in workshops and presentations, inspiring further interest and funding while encouraging inclusive practices in local associations. The trailer continues to serve as a powerful tool for promoting awareness and inclusion through skateboarding.
